Talk to ETEBAS

The engagement

Five stages. The first one is where we tell you if this is not for you.

Every engagement is confidential and runs under a signed mandate stating scope, fees and duration before work begins.

Stage 01Discover

Understand the objective and what sits behind it.

A structured conversation about objective, capital range, timeline, sector, control preference and risk tolerance. If ETEBAS is not the right firm for the mandate, this is where we say so — not three months in.

Still have questions?

The ones we are asked first.

What does “intelligence-led advisory” actually mean?
Six research lenses run before any recommendation: market, company, industry, investment, financial and competitive. On an acquisition mandate that means reading the target's MCA filings, mapping its competitors and stress-testing its numbers before anyone tells you what it is worth.
Is ETEBAS an investment company or a financial adviser?
No. ETEBAS is a business advisory firm. It does not operate as an investment company, portfolio manager, broker or registered financial adviser, does not offer investment products, and does not guarantee financial returns or business outcomes.
Do you only advise, or do you also execute?
We advise and coordinate; the business signs. Diligence, valuation input, negotiation support, documentation with counsel and regulatory filings are run by us. Legal, tax and audit work is executed by licensed professionals we coordinate — chartered accountants, company secretaries, registered valuers and law firms.
How long does the intelligence phase take?
Two to six weeks. A market-entry assessment sits at the shorter end. Acquisition diligence runs longer, because it waits on the counterparty's disclosure rather than on us.
Is your research specific to one sector, or across all of them?
Across seven domains and more than 200 sub-domains. The taxonomy exists so a mandate can be placed precisely on the first call rather than approximately on the third.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before reaching out?
No. Many engagements begin with an objective rather than a target. The first conversation covers capital range, timeline, sector and control preference — and if the objective is not realistic, you will hear that there rather than three months in.
What happens after the intelligence phase?
A written recommendation: the route, the structural options with their trade-offs, the filings that follow, and the questions that need your decision. Then execution support through to completion.

Take the next strategic step.

Get access to the ETEBAS copilot and a dedicated relationship manager. The copilot works through your objective — route, entity, sector, timeline — so the groundwork is done before anyone books a meeting. The relationship manager stays with the engagement after it.

The copilot accelerates the research layer. It does not make judgement calls, give investment advice, or recommend any business, security or asset — those are made by named people who are accountable for them.

Information shared is treated as confidential and used solely to assess fit.
